These Terms govern your use of WordBank, a platform for Scrabble word study, quizzes, statistics and practice rooms.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Each person may maintain only one WordBank account unless otherwise permitted by WordBank. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
WordBank is intended for Scrabble players of any age, including school-age players who often use it under the guidance of a coach or Practice Room administrator. If you are under the age required by your local law to agree to these Terms on your own, you should only use WordBank with the involvement of a parent, guardian, coach or teacher who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You must not misuse WordBank, attempt to access another user's account, manipulate scores or leaderboards, automate activity without permission, disrupt the service, or harass other users.
Practice rooms may have owners and administrators who can manage room settings, goals and membership. Room administrators cannot alter another user's personal WordBank statistics. WordBank may remove users or administrators who misuse these privileges.
Quiz scores, word counts, rankings and other statistics are generated by WordBank's systems. We may correct or remove results affected by technical errors, cheating or abuse.
You remain responsible for content you submit, including profile information, word lists and Practice Room chat messages. You must have the necessary rights to submit such content. You grant WordBank permission to store and display submitted content as necessary to provide the service.
WordBank's name, logo, software and design belong to WordBank or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or commercially exploit them without permission. Master dictionaries are drawn from publicly available word lists; your own uploaded word lists remain yours.
You may request deletion of your account at any time from Profile → Danger zone. WordBank may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the security or integrity of the service. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security or legitimate operational purposes.
WordBank is provided on an ongoing basis but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued.
We may update these Terms as WordBank develops. Where appropriate, we will notify users of material changes and may require acceptance of an updated version.
